Florida-based hard rockers BLACK TIDE have issued the following update from drummer Steven Spence:

"This is Steven Spence. Our tour bus just dropped us back off at home a few days ago! It feels great to be back in a bed that's not traveling 80 miles per hour every night! However, the last couple of months on the road were unforgettable.

When I first got the news about the full line-up for the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, I think it's needless to say that my hopes were high, but nothing could have prepared me for what was coming our way. I think I can safely say that Uproar has been the best tour of our career so far. Between the friendships we've made, the insane crowds we've performed in front of, and the ridiculous after parties we've hosted, I'd say that this tour is going to leave a long-lasting impression on our lives.

The rest of this new touring cycle is going to have a lot to live up to. When I think of our best crowd-response experiences, a few cities come to mind in particular. In general, it's just great to see our fans come out and show us love and support by bringing a ton of energy and singing along to our new songs, especially because they were released fairly recently.

Releasing this new album was a huge step for us and everyone's support truly means the world to us. It's been very refreshing being able to perform some new tunes for everyone and we're excited to continue doing so. Even though right now we're all pretty stoked to be back home for a couple of weeks, I'm sure that within a few days we'll all be eager to get back on the road and set out to continue working towards our goal!: WORLD DOMINATION!

Hope to see you ALL soon..."

Black Tide recently stopped by Fuel TV's The Daily Habit to perform their latest single 'That Fire', from the band's sophomore album, Post Mortem. Watch the video below:

Black Tide is encouraging their fans to send in dare requests for the band to do. Fans can send in their dares through their personal Twitter accounts by entering "I #darblacktide..." where the band will pick a bunch of their favorite ones and video themselves completing the dare. Fans can be as creative as they would like with the dares. For more information on the contest, click here.
