hot flashes news blood of christ

BW&BK; has received the following statement from Canadian extremists BLOOD OF CHRIST:

"Toronto's own Blood Of Christ have recently laid the band to rest after 13 years, in a move that sees the bands guitarist/founder, Jeff Longo relocating to London (Ontario) to join forces with original Blood Of Christ drummer, Jason Longo, and original vocalist, Jason Deaville. This song-writing trio reunites the classic line-up of the critically acclaimed 1995 demonstration cassette, The Lonely Flowers Of Autumn under the new moniker AUTUMN 1971. With the new name comes an exciting, bold new direction. Autumn 1971 promises the same mix of eclectic, brutal, and original song-writing that fans of 'The Lonely Flowers of Autumn' would expect. Best described as a mix of PINK FLOYD, ENSLAVED, MORBID ANGEL and early Blood of Christ. The band is currently in the process of writing, with plans to record by spring... expect the unexpected!"
