BORKNAGAR On New Album - "What We Hear Is Simply Above And Beyond All Our Expectations"

Norway's BORKNAGAR have just entered Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden where they are mixing their new album with Jens Bogren (KATATONIA, OPETH, PARADISE LOST).
The band has released the first studio update:
“Our first day in Fascination Street Studios finalizing the mix of our new album has now come to an end- and what a day! We are simply stunned by the sophisticated wizardry that Jens Bogren is able to squish out from his monitors. Almost like he opened the gates to a new dimension in terms of production- what we hear is simply above and beyond all our expectations. Six songs done and we have four more to do tomorrow- and I can assure you that the new album will knock you out of the chair. Can’t wait to get this album out! Earlier this year Borknagar inked a three-album deal with Century Media Records. The band's new album is due out in early 2012.
