A famous rock-n-roll band has turned a Broken Arrow computer designer into a behind-the-scenes star.
KISS will play the BOK Center on December 8 as part of their 35th anniversary tour. One of the stars of the show has called Oklahoma home his entire life.
When KISS performs in Tulsa on Tuesday, fans won't just be staring at the legendary tongue of Gene Simmons, but they'll also be enjoying the animation of a Broken Arrow computer designer. Kyle Stauffer designed all of the video that goes along with the music.
"Kinda like mini music videos that play, you know, behind all the songs, the eye candy and flashy colors and pretty images," said Kyle Stauffer, KISS designer.
All the flashy images were designed by Stauffer in his living room.
"To be able to do something like that, not only to do it, but to do it from here in Oklahoma, I mean out here to them I might as well be in the middle of nowhere, but it's cool. It's kinda like I get to be a rock star without having to be on stage," said Stauffer.
