CANCER BATS Pick Up Juno Awards Nomination In Rock Album Of The Year Category

Canadian metallers CANCER BATS have just received a Juno nomination for Rock Album Of The Year, for their third studio album Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones. The band will face off against fellow Canadians DIE MANNEQUIN, FINGER ELEVEN, HAIL THE VILLIAN and MATTHEW GOOD.
Having spent the night driving from Thunder Bay to Toronto, the Cancer Bats woke up to the news of their nomination. “I can't think of better news to finish off a 17 hour drive,” states vocalist Liam Cormier.
Since releasing their third studio album Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones, Cancer Bats have graced the pages of countless top-tier publications across the globe and have toured relentlessly throughout Canada, the US and all over the world. This marks the second Juno nomination for the Cancer Bats. The 2011 Juno Awards broadcast will take place on CTV, Sunday March 27th at the Air Canada Centre.
