Catch The Fever Music Festivals Looking For Miss Rocklahoma

Organizers of Rocklahoma, taking place July 9th - 12th in Pryor, Oklahoma, have issued the following update:
Catch the Fever Music Festivals. who organizes the largest Eighties Rock Festival in the United States. is looking for that special lady who can be called "Miss Rocklahoma."
The First Annual “Miss Rocklahoma” must be a lady who exhibits a true passion for Eighties Metal. The winner will win an all access and two VIP Passes for the entire four days of Rocklahoma. The Five Runners Up will receive two all access passes and VIP Privileges for Opening Night of Rocklahoma. Please click here to submit to the Miss Rocklahoma contest.
Of all the entries submitted the top ten will be chosen by a panel of judges. The ten finalists’ profiles will appear on the Rocklahoma website where rock fans from across the world will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite. The top five will be chosen by the online voting. Those five will appear live on stage Thursday Night, when the winner will be announced and crowned as “Miss Rocklahoma.”
Entrants must email a recent photo to the Miss Roclahoma Questionnaire. Fill out an online questionnaire. Ladies must be over twenty one years of age and already attending Rocklahoma. All entries must be received by June 22, 2009 by midnight. The Miss Rocklahoma contest is not just about beauty and sexuality, but about an energizing, fun loving and amiable individual who truly represents and encapsulates the spirit of what Rocklahoma is all about.
As previously reported, the lineup on each of the four days of the festival is as follows:
Thursday: ANTHRAX, SAXON, OVERKILL, METAL CHURCH, LEATHERWOLF
Friday: RATT, NIGHT RANGER, WARRANT, DANGER DANGER, HELIX, HURRICANE ALICE.
Saturday: STRYPER, THIN LIZZY, KIX, KEEL, LIZZY BORDEN, GYPSY PISTOLEROS.
Sunday: TWISTED SISTER, SKID ROW, GREAT WHITE, NELSON, BONFIRE, VIXEN.
Catch The Fever Festival Grounds is located four miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma and has 6,200 assigned and numbered seats, as well as general admission on the lawn for over 50,000 people. The grounds also feature over 4,000 campsites, on-site parking, bathroom facilities and a convenience store. Rocklahoma also has a Picture Alley that allows anyone in attendance to approach the stage during any performance and take photographs of a favorite artist at close range.
