Norway's Metal Express Radio has issued the following announcement:

"On Monday, September 12th, the '70's Hard Rock Revisited Show will feature CHEAP TRICK At Budokan. Anyone who was a music fan and lived through the '70s intimately remembers what a monumental album Cheap Trick At Budokan was for the band. This live album, which originally was never intended for release anywhere but in Japan, literally took the band from obscurity into becoming a national and international phenomena. However, since the album released in 1979 was (of course) on vinyl, space limitations allowed only 10 of the 19 songs played during that concert stop to make it onto the original blockbuster release.

Metal Express Radio recently got its grubby paws on the full recording of that concert, and as part of this week's '70s show, we're going to feature the 'lost' tracks from that historic tour stop! You'll have to be the one to decide if these tracks should've been included on the original vinyl, or perhaps you'll come to find that Cheap Trick At Budokan should've been a double vinyl set from the get-go.

Either way, enjoy some truly vintage '70s hard rock from April 1978 as part of this week's show.

Be sure to tune in here at 15:00 and 21:00 Central European Time (9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. EST) each Monday to relive memories of the distant past!"
