The official CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site, Scythes Of Bodom, has issued an extensive recap of the band's appearance at this year's installment of the Wacken Open Air, which took place from July 31st - August 2nd in Wacken, Germany. Go to this location to check it out.
As previously reported, Children Of Bodom recently announced a fall 2008 U.S. headlining tour in support of its critically acclaimed new album, Blooddrunk. The scheduled four week, 25 city Children Of Bodom tour will kick off on September 11 in Baltimore, MD and criss-cross the U.S., closing with a bang on October 10 in Worcester, MA.
COB has tapped metal veterans TESTAMENT as special support for its NYC tour stop on October 9 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Testament – currently on the road alongside JUDAS PRIEST, HEAVEN AND HELL and MOTÖRHEAD as part of this summer’s Metal Masters tour – is touring to back its latest studio album, The Formation of Damnation. The tour’s previously-announced opening acts BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will also appear.
