The official CHILDREN OF BODOM fansite Scythes Of Bodom recently caught up with drummer Jaska Raatikainen to discuss the band's forthcoming album, drum clinics, and the technical aspects of his craft. The following is a brief excerpt:
Zarok: The band is rehearsing new songs. Can you maybe tell us a little bit about the progress? How many new songs do you have so far, how does it sound?
Jaska: "We have two new songs. They sound very good but different. One is quite old school thrash and the other reminds me of old HYPOCRISY. With this album we don't have the same hurry like with the recent one, and after this long tour it's great to get together and create something new."
