hot flashes news chris caffery

SAVATAGE / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Chris Caffery has issued the following update:

"Hi Guys!

Things have been incredibly busy. The House Of Insanity CD / poster special has been selling great. I am so excited about this! I have almost each order submitted so far in the mail as of today.

Next week I will head to Italy. I am going to preform as a guest with MERENDINE ATOMICHE in their home town of Citadella. I am hoping the travel will not be too stressful considering the new flu outbreak. Been working on the tunes for the Ripper tour. Lots of great stuff. Many songs from his killer new solo CD Play My Game as well as some well known classics!!! Not going to give away any secrets. So far the first festivals are booked. Sweden Rock and Download at Donnington. Hoping to post more dates soon.

The House of Insanity US radio campaign will begin in June. By then the CD will be available in many retail outlets here in the US. I know Gallery of Sound in Philadelphia has some now as well as online through Omega / The End Records. I am continuing to develop my own label, Face The Music Records, here in the States and will focus my attention on completing retail release all over North America through this label via many different outlets. This is a lot of work but very exciting.

I will also be making an announcement about the European recording contract next week. It is a bit more difficult for me to handle the hands on business day to day in Europe so I decided to hand this off to an established label there! I will be announcing some shows for my band in the summer as soon as I know when the Ripper tour is exactly. Trying to book around it.

TSO is still in the studio and things are going great. Fingers crossed for a release in the near future!

Be safe and cautious of you travel but keep educated on the situation as it develops. Right now there is reason for concern but not reason to panic. I have my fingers crossed that the flu gets contained with minimal sickness and fatality.

Happy May....I can't believe we are four months into 2009 already! Almost time for TSO rehearsals again!"

Peace!

Chris
