CHTHONIC Win Best International Artist At The 2009 Tibetan Music Awards

Taiwanese extreme metal band and Spinefarm Records recording artist Chthonic have been awarded Best International Artist for their participation in the Free Tibet concert in Taipei on July 11th of this year. The award was given at this years Tibetan Music Awards, which took place on October 10th in Mcleod Ganj, India.
Says vocalist Freddy Lim: "This is an honor for all the performers, staff, volunteers, and audiences involved with the Free Tibet Concert earlier this year in Taiwan. Let's keep fighting for justice and freedom, and I believe that all Tibetans will be winners and earn their rights eventually!"
Chthonic is currently on tour with SARTYRICON in support of their latest album Mirror of Retribution, released in the USA on September 15th, 2009.
