As previously reported, CAMP FREDDY's Billy Morrison (guitars/vocals), THE ALMIGHTY's Ricky Warwick (guitars), THE CULT's Billy Duffy (guitars) and VELVET REVOLVER's Matt Sorum (drums) have banded together to form CIRCUS DIABLO. Their new, as-yet-untitled debut album, is finished and awaiting release. Morrison has posted the following update has been posted at his official website:

"Circus Diablo have a few things going on. Some meetings happening over the next few days - just discussing the game plan, and talking shop with a few people. And Billy and Ricky will be coming over to my studio to work on an alternate version of the song 'Loaded' that appears on the forthcoming album. The idea is to do an acoustic (ish) version of the song to put up on the MySpace profile. Just trying to give you guys something to fill the gap between now and the summer. No doubt we will also write a couple more tunes while Billy is here in LA - just cos its fun!! We are also doing a cover shoot and interview for a new magazine thats launching in June. More details when I have them."

As previously reported, the Circus Diablo MySpace profile now includes a special preview of one of the songs from the band's forthcoming album, to be released later this year. The track is a cover of the ADAM AND THE ANTS song, 'Ants Invasion', and has been previously played exclusively on Camp Freddy Radio, the weekly radio show on Los Angeles station, Indie 103.1FM.
