hot flashes news consortium project

Solo artist/ex-ELEGY singer, CONSORTIUM PROJECT mastermind and longtime friend of BW&BK;/BraveWords.com has submitted the following: "Hi chaps, Happy New Year. I thought you may like to be the first to hear about my fifth and final Consortium Project album called Species. I have attached images and text also about plans for a live tour. (The line-up is subject to availability of guest musicians). Obviously I still have to arrange a license deal and release date, but it's a killer album so I have no worries regarding labels. As I always say, 'It's about the songs' and these songs on CV are really kick ass and catchy as hell! Even though I wrote them all and I’m blowing my own trumpet ha! ha! All the best and lots of luck in 2010."

According to a press release, Consortium Project V Species is the final part of a fictional concept story set centuries in the future where the truth of mankind’s origins are discovered and a final epic journey into outer space is met with dire consequences the world has never seen. Newcomers to Consortium Project are female vocalists; Bulgarian rock singer Anna Lozanova (ANI LO BAND and gothic metal singer Lene Petersen (INFINITY OVERTURE). The new CV album will feature KAMELOT drummer Casey Grillo, ex-PAIN OF SALVATION bassist Kristoffer Gildenlöw, DAWN OF DESTINY bass player Jens Faber, CIRCLE II CIRCLE guitarist Bill Hudson and Infinity Overture guitarist Niels Vejlyt who has already laid down some ripping guitar tracks on a number of Consortium V songs during Ian's recent visit to Copenhagen in October 2009. Consortium V Species will be finished mid 2010 with a release including his Consortium Quadrilogy around September 2010.

Live line-up:
