CONTRIVE Confirmed To Support OPETH For Three Shows In Australia

Australia's CONTRIVE have issued the following press release:

Melbourne trio Contrive have been personally selected as direct support by the members of OPETH for a run of shows next month. Catch them on these following dates:

November

22 - The Tivoli - Brisbane (18+)
23 - Enmore Theatre - Sydney (all ages / licensed)
25 - Palace Theatre - Melbourne (18+)

These upcoming shows will focus purely on the band’s forthcoming second album now to be titled The Internal Dialogue, set for release in early 2010. It was mixed by Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) at Studio D in downtown Vancouver, Canada with the band's drummer Andrew Haug.

The band is currently shopping the album around to various labels to secure a deal for the release. More news soon."

Contrive formed in 1999 by twin brothers Paul and Andrew Haug and bassist Tim Stahlmann, releasing two EPs and a debut album in 2005 titled The Meaning Unseen (mixed by Fredrik Nordstrom - Studio Fredman, Sweden). The band has shared the staged with the likes of MACHINE HEAD, STONE SOUR, SEPULTURA, SOILWORK, DESTRUCTION, MAYHEM and more.
