As previously reported, bassist Peter London from Swedish glamsters CRASHDIET underwent surgery this week after he was diagnosed with spinal disc herniation. A herniated (slipped) disk occurs when all or part of a disk in the spine is forced through a weakened part of the disk. This places pressure on nearby nerves.

Says London on Facebook: "Just woke up from surgery, feeling fine. Got some photos but I'll show them later. All went just fine, lot's of congratz to myself!"

Crashdïët have been forced to cancel their March 9th appearance at the Rock The Night festival in Lichtenfels, Germany and the following night at the Shout It Out Loud festival in Mülheim, Germany.
