Dan Swanö Lays Down "Brutal" Backing Vocals On THRESHOLD Album

Swedish multi-instrumentalist/producer Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE, SECOND SKY, BLOODBATH) has laid down backing vocals on the new album from U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD, entitled Dead Reckoning. Swanö guests on the opening song of the album 'Slipstream' and the third song Elusive.
Commented Swanö: "My backing growls on the upcoming Threshold album are the most brutal thing you will hear from me in quite some time. Tore my throat apart for these guys!!"
Dead Reckoning was produced by Karl Groom and Richard West at Thin Ice Studios. The tracklist is as follows: 'Slipstream', 'This Is Your Life', 'Elusive', 'Hollow', 'Pilot In The Sky Of Dreams', 'Fighting For Breath', 'Disappear', 'Safe To Fly', 'One Degree Down'.
Threshold's last album, Subsurface, picked up 15 "Album Of The Month" awards across the globe. Earlier this year the band moved to Nuclear Blast Records to join a highly successful roster of bands including IN FLAMES, NIGHTWISH and BLIND GUARDIAN.
Dead Reckoning is due for release through Nuclear Blast Records on March 23, 2007.
