Portuguese prog-rock/metal band DARK WINGS SYNDROM have posted two new songs for exclusive streaming at the band's official MySpace page

The uploaded tracks are ‘It’s No Good’ (DEPECHE MODE cover) and ‘… In Hades (Pt. 1)’, from their new album Arcane released on August 16 in Europe via Ethereal Sound Works.

Arcane was mixed and mastered by David Castillo (KATATONIA, BLOODBATH, KLIMT 1918, DRACONIAN) at Ghostward Studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The initial recording sessions for the CD took place at Teatro Construção (ATC), DWS Studio and 213 Studios (Portugal) between August and December 2009/ January 2010 under the guidance of Rui Ferreira (Caps) (Dark Wings Syndrome).

Dark Wings Syndrome’s Arcane features Singer Miriam Renvåg (SFINX, RAM-ZET) as special guest on ‘… In Hades (Pt. 1)’ as well as Nera (DARZAMAT, NERANATURA) vocals on 'Free-Flowing'; Johnny Icon (ICON, THE BLACK ROSES) vocals on 'Hadred/Ódio'; Susana Silva vocals on 'My Silence'; Davide Tiso (EPHEL DUATH) additional guitar on '...In Hades (Pt. 1)'; Ernesto Guerra (HEAVENWOOD) vocals on 'In My Crystal Cage'; Hugo Correia (FADOMORSE) orchestral arrangements and programming on 'In My Crystal Cage'; Artur Fernandes (DANCAS OCULTS) diatonic accordion on 'Unknown Pleasures'; Karolina Vel Death (SKEPTICAL MINDS) vocals on 'Unknown Pleasures'.
