Norwegian black metallers DEN SAAKALDTE are scheduled to release two new versions of Øl, Mørke Og Depresjon by the end of 2009. Originally released in early 2008 on Eerie Art Records, the new CD version will come in Digipack format, while the LP version will be a gatefold edition, limited to 500 copies. Both will include bonus tracks not previously available, and will be released on Aesthetic Death Records. The artwork for both the Digipack and LP versions is designed by Den Saakaldte founder and guitarist Sykelig.

As well as Sykelig, Den Saakaldte’s line up includes Niklas Kvarforth (SHINING, SKITLIV) on vocals, Seidemann (1349, PANTHEON I) on bass, Kvebek (PANTHEON I) on guitars and HONEY LUCIUS (DHG) on synths and effects.

Den Saakaldte is in the process of booking an extensive European tour for the spring of 2010, and is already confirmed for the Barther and Kings of Black Metal festivals. Work has begun on a new album for release next year.

More information about Den Saakaldte can be found on the band’s MySpace page.
