Bergen, Norway's DERIDE has inked a deal with Massacre Records.

Deride has been lurking around for well over a decade now, making their first appearance in the summer of 1995. The band released a self-titled EP as well as a three track demo tape before releasing their first album, Scars Of Time, in 2001 and the successor, First Round Knockout, in 2003.

After a break the band is now back with a new lineup: founding members Ole Walaunet (guitars) and Kjetil Greve (drums) were joined by vocalist Per Helge Lande and bassist Tony Vetas.

Deride's new album, The Void, is scheduled to be released on April 27th via Massacre Records.
