Montreal-based metallers DESPISED ICON have issued the following update:
"The Day Of Mourning Tour is already halfway done. We hadn’t played in a lot of these cities in a while and it definitely felt great to be back, see a few familiar faces and rock the fuck out! Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the bands. We’ve gone through a lot on this tour so far: colds, bronchitis, fevers, van problems, snow storms on the road, blocked highways and 8 to 13 hour long drives almost every night. To top it all off, a tire blew up on Eric’s hand and broke his left index finger! He’s actually playing guitar with only three fingers every night and pulling it off! Despite all the bullshit, the shows have been awesome thanks to you guys and we’re looking forward to the rest of the tour!Right after this, we’ll make a short stop in Montreal for two days and then fly over to Europe to headline the Never Say Die Tour and meet up with our homies in OCEANO, ARCHITECTS and ABRB. Only three weeks left before we go back to the Old Continent. Last year’s edition of NSD was so much fun and we’re excited to be part of the line-up again. Can’t wait!"
