Gothenburg’s DESTINY have announced that, unfortunately, their new digital single that was going to be released this month, will be delayed until January 2013. The single is from the anniversary album, The Incompatibility Of Philosophical Terminology, scheduled for a spring 2013 release. It will be the first release with new singer Jonas Heidgert (DRAGONLAND).

Says the band: "Interestingly enough it will also be the first release featuring Michael Åberg (NOSTRADAMEUS) on guitar, even though he has been with the band since 2005. Guesting on drums is Adde Larsson (M.A.N., BLACK CANYD STORE) who recorded the drums about a year ago well before current drummer Roger Christiansson joined the Destiny a couple of weeks ago. The bass will, as always, be handled by Destiny mainman Stefan Björnshög."

Destiny recently announced the addition of new drummer Roger Christiansson.

Accordiung to the band: "Roger Christiansson is a passionate drummer, singer and multi-instrumentalist.He is also a composer both of music and lyrics. So far he has recorded and performed with bands like Solid, Rampage, Attrapp, Southern Comfort Band, Solid, Freak Station, Gringos and Overnight Sensation. As an old Hi Fi enthusiast and with a keen interest to improve sound quality he has plans to move into sound engineering. Roger and Stefan Björnshög have been friends for more than 25 years but this is actually the first time that they will play together. On a personnel level Roger was the obvious choice and after just one rehearsal it was also quite clear that he will be the prefect drummer for Destiny!"

Destiny's upcoming 30th anniversary album, The Incompatibility Of Philosophical Terminology, is scheduled for release in spring 2013, and the next album Global Warming, where everything but the vocals are already recorded.

Artwork for the new album was created by Mats Gustafson. Check it out below:
