DEVILDRIVER Frontman Featured In New Video Interview
July 12, 2010, 14 years ago
DEVILDRIVER vocalist Dez Fafara is featured in a new interview with CrankItUp.se, conducted at this year's Getaway Rock Festival in Gävle, Sweden. Check it out below.
DevilDriver recently finished recording their forthcoming fifth studio album at Sonic Ranch studios in Tornillo, Texas, and while celebrated engineer Mark Lewis handled production, the band has announced that reknowned British producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE) will be handling mixing duties this July.
About the new material due out in 2011 drummer John Boecklin comments: "Our record has a great contrast of dark riffs, stomp bouncing drums with the right amount of blasts and double bass, and outstanding vocal delivery from Dez that takes it past your average approach of the metal attempt. I'm not talking about reinventing the wheel or nothing. I just think our new album sits in it's own corner from any of our other albums."
As previously reported, Devildriver and 36 CRAZYFISTS will join forces for the Bound By The Road 2010 UK co-headlining tour in November. More special guests will soon be announced.
