DEVILDRIVER vocalist Dez Fafara has issued the following message:

"To everyone... Management, Booking, Tour related personnel... Thank you for making DevilDriver's European Run a huge success!

Home! Yep it's a good place! That's where I've been for 7 days. Strange how 7 days seems to fly by.

We are leaving for Australia 8 days from now with good friends and I'm looking forward to watching HIGH ON FIRE, SHADOWS FALL and of course LAMB OF GOD, and I'm hoping to get some time to go see more of each place we are visiting.

No, sadly we are NOT doing the New Zealand show but I am looking forward to playing there soon.

Came home from Europe sick as fuck, just starting to kick it.

45 degrees in the desert today and I'm hanging Christmas lights for my family, playing with my doberman and packing for Down Under, while waiting for a rainstorm!!"

As previously reported, DevilDriver have announced a five-week winter tour of the US and Canada that will kick off in January 2010.

Death metal veterans SUFFOCATION will provide main support, with GOATWHORE and THY WILL BE DON also appearing on the bill.

Dez Fafara said, “Come on out to this tour and prepare to have your asses handed to you! It’ll be an evening of full metal assault on your senses. Leave your earplugs at home and be prepared for several hours of headbanging.”
