DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen has posted new drum cam footage online from the band's recent Australian tour:
"Hey Everyone!So, the DTP did an Australian Tour in October 2013 along with the festival show we did in Japan. Australia has ALWAYS been so amazing to us and this time was no exception!
I recorded Drumcams in two cities on the 2013 Oz run - Melbourne and Perth. Those were the two cities I had the most time to set up the camera for. Once again I used my Zoom Q3HD to record the footage.
This is a drumcam medley made up of some songs we rarely play in our set. Some technical drumming, some groove drumming and some dynamic drumming is in this drumcam medley. It's good to be as versatile as you can be and always play for the song ;) I got cool camera angles for the footage I shot, the drums sound great as well :)

PS: I hear The Palace in Melbourne may be torn down.... after playing there, I really hope this doesn't happen. It's an amazing venue and it had one of the coolest vibes for a live show I have ever experienced. Here's hoping it's still standing when we come back!"
