TheLiveLine has been updated with a new message from DIAMOND HEAD guitarist Brian Tatler. Hear his first AudioBlog at (888) 714-9435. Leave him a message to welcome to the family.
As previously reported, Diamond Head have announced that they will be playing at the River Rooms in Stourbridge, UK on Thursday, August 27th as a warm up for the Fama Rock Festival being held in Ilawa, Poland on August 29th. The River Rooms used to be known as the Rock Cafe 2000. Tickets are £10 in advance. Another UK show may be announced to coincide with this date according to a band update.
Universal Records will be releasing a triple Diamond Head CD. Titled The MCA Years, it will contain remastered versions of Borrowed Time, Canterbury and Live At The Reading Festival.
The release will also include some bonus material, some of which has previously been unavailable. This is the first release of Borrowed Time and Canterbury on CD in the UK. The Reading set was previously released on Raw Fruit in 1992, but has long since been deleted and is a much sought after item by Diamond Head fans.
This release has been delayed due to the need to obtain licensing for the BBC broadcasts. However, the setlists and the artwork have now been finalised and there promises to be some treats even for the die-hard Diamond Head fan.
