Tampa Bay's home of heavy metal, The State Theatre in downtown St. Petersburg FL, presents it's first installment of The Maximum Metal Show on Friday, May 9th. This periodic metal show will feature new national metal acts and the first one is power packed with some big names.

DISASTERPEACE headlines this event and is the brainchild of Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY) and Pete Blakk (ex-KING DIAMOND) and also features Hal Patino on bass from King Diamond. Powerful brutal metal will assault your ears, and just take a listen to the rough demo releases on their myspace for their upcoming CD and you will know great things are to come for this amazing lineup.

The new Disasterpeace track 'The Scarecrow' is currently streaming on BraveTunes - head to the left-hand-side of BraveWords.com.

Notable opening band AFTER DEATH features former MORBID ANGEL/NOCTURNUS/ACHERON drummer/vocalist Mike Browning. Iron Pegasus Records released their full length CD, Retronomicon in 2007.

Fresh off the Nightmare Metal Festival bands SHADES OF TWILIGHT, and FAST TAKER round out the bill with prog-thrash band Seven Kingdoms. More information can be found on these bands at www.myspace.com/statetheatreconcerts.
