DJERV Announce Live Lineup; Tour To Launch This Week

DJERV, with singer Agnete Kjølsrud of ANIMAL ALPHA, drummer Erlend Gjerde of STONEGARD and WARDRUNA and guitarist Stian Kårstad of TRELLDOM, have completed the live lineup before their Summer Slaughter Tour 2010 kicks off on Thursday, June 17th.
Stamos Koliousis (MENCEA) joins the 6-string ranks, and Victor Brandt (TOTALT JÄVLA MÖRKER, ENTOMBED, SATYRICON) handles the bass.

I have been a fan of Stamos guitarwork since the very first Mencea demo I heard some 6 years ago. His playing is so groovy, yet with that all distinct metal attack ! And now, after several failed attempts, we are going to be on stage together.”

Djerv is a new act exploring the borderlines between rock, metal and black metal - consciously pulling threads of their former bands into Djerv. The overall sound is stripped down, groove oriented and melodic, yet with cold black metal influenced riffis accompanying the dark moods of the music .
