Norway's DJERV have released their first ever recordings on the Headstone EP, out today (August 3rd) via Indie Distribution and their own label, Katapult Music.

The 3-track EP was originally intended as a demo but is now exclusively available for digital downloading and streaming.

Headstone EP was recorded in various studios in Oslo in the fall of 2009, and ultimately mixed by Vangelis Labrakis and Stamos Koliousis, who later joined the band as a live guitarist, in 210 Studios in Berlin. It is produced by the band and was mastered by Espen Berg at Livingroom Studios in Oslo. The cover artwork is done by Christian Sloan Hall, who previously made posters and artwork for bands such as DIMMU BORGIR, TESTAMENT and SLAYER.

The Headstone EP is out to shorten the wait for the upcoming debut album, set to be released in February/March 2011. The band is currently finishing up the writing in between touring.
