ENSIFERUM - Diary And Pictures From North American Paganfest Tour Available

ENSIFERUM bassist Sami Hinkka is keeping a tour diary on the North American leg of the Paganfest, also featuring TURISAS, TYR and ELUVEITIE. Following are a couple excerpts from the diary:
April 30 - Detroit, MI - I Rock
"The gig was changed from Harpo's to I Rock venue. I Rock seemed to be pretty legendary venue since there was LOT of guitar picks and signed guitars on wall. Here I visited Taco Bell for the first time in my life! Very cheap food and it was pretty good (7 1/2).May 1st is a holiday in Finland (called Vappu) so some of the tour party decorated our bus with balloons etc. I was too tired after the show to stay up for traditional Vappu party (= drink till you drop) but others stayed up pretty late (or early).
The show was...once again... GREAT! I really hope my English would be better and I would know more synonyms for 'great'. I begin to sound like a parrot.
Oh by the, I´ve checked some movies during last few days: Saw 4 (8 1/2), Valhalla (9), The Good, The Bad And The Ugly (9), The Mist (10-)."

May 2 - St. Paul, MN - Station 4
"Rainy day. We had very early show because we had to get to Denver next day, so we started like 20.20. :D It was Friday so we were little bit afraid that people will come to venue later but maybe the word spread and there were lot of people.Gig was good! People were nice, shower was warm, burgers in the bar next to the venue were good. Splendid! After the show I watched movie Hitman (Ive never played the game). It was pretty good movie, I would say 8. I must be the most anti-rock´n roll musician in the world!"
