EPICA - Tonight's Show In Paris Officially Sold Out

According to an update from EPICA, their show in Paris, France tonight (November 21st) at Elysee Montmartre is officially sold out. This is the last show of the band's current European tour.

As previously reported, Epica is the latest act confirmed for the Wacken Open Air festival 2009, which is scheduled to take place from July 30th - August 1st in Wacken, Germany.

Confirmed acts for the festival include: AMON AMARTH, CALLEJON, CATHEDRAL, EINHERJER, EPICA, HAMMERFALL, IN EXTREMO, IN FLAMES, KAMPFAR, KORPIKLAANI, MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, AXEL RUDI PELL, TRISTANIA, WALLS OF JERICHO.

Tickets include:

- free parking (for any vehicle like car, motorbike, camper van or caravan)
- free camping - right next to the vehicle for the W:O:A feeling (if the weather conditions are good enough).

Organizers of Germany's Wacken Open Air recently announced details regarding the sixth round of the W:O:A Metal Battle. The international final will be held on the WET stage at the W:O:A 2009 from July 31st-August 2nd. The first prize for the international winner is a record deal with Wacken Records. 16 countries currently participate in the W:O:A Metal Battle.
