FIREBIRD Cancel September/October UK Club Dates

British blues-rock power trio FIREBIRD - fronted by guitarist / vocalist Bill Steer (ex-CARCASS / NAPALM DEATH) - have issued the following update:
"As some of you may have observed, all of our UK club gigs for September and October have been cancelled. There is a long, tangled history behind all of this, but we'll spare you the details for the time being. What we can tell you is that, as mentioned in previous blogs, these dates were booked by the same person who ended up cancelling the August gigs. We've done what we can to salvage the remainder, but it came to nothing. This is not the time or place to criticise our former booker - from what we understand, he is suffering some personal problems. We wish him well with those. However the contacts we were given regarding the remaining dates this autumn have proved to be less than helpful. At present the two venues where we look likely to re-schedule are The Garage in Swansea and The Patriot in Crumlin. Their management has been very approachable and we hope to confirm new dates soon."
