FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl Discusses New Project With RATT Members In Rolling Stone Magazine; Stephen Pearcy Issues Studio Update

RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy has checked in with the following update:
"Dave Grohl (FOO FIGHTERS) speaks on the new project that has been under wraps that Warren (DeMartini/guitars) and myself are involved with (and many other artists) in the new Rolling Stone January 19th, 2012 issue. Check it out if you have a chance; we'll wait for Dave's camp to give the formal release. Dave brought an amazing song to Warren and myself to record. I wrote the first draft of lyrics and sang a rough vocal track. Warren laid down some basic guitar tracks, still lots to do. So there you have it. More TBA when it goes down."

Ratt recently issued the following update regarding their next studio album:
"Ratt & Roll 2012! Warren (DeMartini, guitar), Stephen (Pearcy, vocals) and the band continue to write the new record. Expect a whole new breed of Ratt for a summer release and tour, TBA. Till then, there could be a few surprise shows.Pearcy recently locked in a publisher for the new book (no title yet), should be finished late summer this year. Release date early 2013. Look for Stephen on a new episode of VH-1 Rock 'N Roll Fantasy Camp, filming February 2012.
