Former FREHLEY'S COMET vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Tod Howarth released his new album, Opposite Gods, via his official website on April 4th. He has checked in with the following update:
"The Opposite Gods CD has arrived, and I am on it. I have the pre-order lists to fill, and those life long fans who will receive theirs as well. Gotta tell ya:'Drown' -- About irritating 'talent' of whom perhaps don't belong.
'Way Down South' -- Tales of my Daughter and Grandson.
'Opposite Gods' -- My distain for dark ages religion.
'Jimbo's Bunk' -- My best friend's life changing accident.
'The Artist' -- Of my son Tommy.
'Layne' -- Of ALICE IN CHAINS' singer.
'Alfi's Torment' -- 16 tracks, all vocals haunt named after our dog.
'Tell Me' -- A highly personal simplistic romantic tragedy.
'Change' -- The political bullshit circus - in my opinion.
'On Your Own' -- Tara's reality tune (my daughter).
'Veterans' -- About the obvious...all gave some, some gave all.
'Dancing Through The Pain' -- A vampire song, written way before all this vampire rage.
'October Son' -- Instrumental for my son, born in October.
Go to TodHowarth.com for all the lyrics and inspirations (and some photos) behind the songs. The inspirations are not all complete but I'm working on that as well!
Thank you so very much."
