As previously reported, former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke has been hospitalized after breaking his leg, in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Monday, January 11th in the Los Angeles area. The other driver involved in the accident allegedly failed to stop at the scene.
Clarke's wife Daniella has issued the following brief update: "Long day! Gilby is doing well - lots of pain. We find out about surgery tomorrow. But all the good wishes make him feel better! Thanks to all of you."
Clarke replaced Izzy Stradlin in Guns n' Roses in 1991 and has been solo since he left the band around 1995.
