Launch Radio Networks has issued the following report from Bruce Simon:

Out today (Tuesday, May 2nd) is Old New Ballads Blues, the new studio album from GARY MOORE.

The record mixes original songs with covers from blues legends OTIS RUSH and WILLIE DIXON, and Moore told us it really shows his range as a performer: "I think there's a good representation of what I do on there, because you've got some quite aggressive playing, but you've got a lot of very gentle playing. I mean, if you go from 'You Know My Love', which has got a pretty aggressive kind of drawn-out solo on it, and then you go to something like 'Gonna Rain Today', which has got very, very restrained, subdued feeling about it -- those two songs alone kind of cover a big part of what I do."

Moore's also the centerpiece of the new DVD called One Night In Dublin: A Tribute To Phil Lynott, which was shot last August on the same day a statue was unveiled in Dublin honoring late THIN LIZZY leader Phil Lynott.

He recently toured the U.K. with B.B. KING on what were the blues legend's final shows in Great Britain.

Moore's got dates booked in Europe into August. He'd like to tour on this side of the ocean, but there's been no word on whether that might happen.
