GATES OF WINTER Gearing Up For Eastern Canada Tour Dates, Working On New Album

Canada's GATES OF WINTER has issued the following update:
"Hey everyone, we've got great news and some exciting things on the horizon.July 11th we set up in our new jam space and had our first rehearsal with Dave Gold (WOODS OF YPRES), which I must say couldn't have gone any more smoothly. We are riding a wave of high spirits as we prepare for our upcoming tour, slated for late August, where we will make our first emergence into Eastern Canada.
We are also pleased to say that the writing process for our second album is definitely under way. We are working on about sixteen songs at the moment. Some will make it, some won't - it's an exciting time!
We are definitely looking forward to seeing all you folks out in Quebec and the Maritimes, and of course to play our first concerts with Old Man Gold.
