Guitarist Maurizio Solieri To Open Up For DEEP PURPLE In Italy

Italian guitar legend Maurizio Solieri (VASCO ROSSI, STEVE ROGERS BAND) will be the opening act for the DEEP PURPLE concerts scheduled in Italy for December. Solieri, 56, will be promoting his new studio album, due in spring 2010. The guitar player is currently on hiatus from Vasco Rossi's Europe Indoor Live In Concert tour, due to restart in February. Maurizio Solieri will be joined on stage by fellow bassist Claudio "Gallo" Golinelli (Vasco Rossi, Steve Rogers Band), singer Michele Luppi (VISION DIVINE, KILLING TOUCH), keyboard player Mimmo Camporeale (Steve Rogers Band), and drummer Alberto Molinari (ZUCCHERO).
