April 8, 2008, 16 years ago
Italian metallers CHAOSWAVE check in with the following update:
"The upcoming Chaoswave album entitled Dead Eye Dreaming will include guest leads by Steve Smyth (ex-NEVERMORE, ex-TESTAMENT) on no less than 3 songs.Steve states: "I first heard Chaoswave a few years ago while on tour with Nevermore, and absolutely loved that they had a heavy, progressive metal sound, combined with a male-female vocal duo that sound huge, and very unique together.Everyone in this band is a top notch musician! I am very pleased to have been asked and contributed solos to the band's new album, which I believe is sure to snap many ears in their direction this year!"
The sophomore album of Chaoswave - mixed by KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy LaRocque - includes 11 songs plus a blistering cover of the 90’s dance hit 'No Limit'. The album artwork is being finished these days, and will be made official soon.
Chaoswave is talking with different labels for a possible release, though no deal has yet been finalized. Managements and labels interested in hearing more, can contact the band on henrik@chaoswave.it."
