With news that they are currently seeking a new drummer, HATRIOT – featuring ex-EXODUS frontman Steve "Zetro" Souza – have announced they have had to cancel their appearance at the D.R.I. 30th Anniversary Tour show at the Avalon Nightclub and Concert Venue in Santa Clara, CA. The band released the following statement:

“Due to complications within Hatriot we are sad to announce that we are dropping out from this Thursdays (May 31st) show with D.R.I and ANGERHEAD, we wish our fellow thrashers the best and tear it up without us. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

About their drummer search, Hatriot have offered up thew following needs: "We would like to fill this position with a musician who works well with others, has gear, transportation, and can tour on short notice. One requirement for the open try out is we are looking for a full play through of our four song demo currently available for download at Reverbnation.com/hatriot. Once you have learned our demo and it is tight/ mistake free, please feel free to Facebook message our page or contact Cody Souza about meeting up to perform the demo live to us, before actual tryout is given. We are currently talking to two record labels and an album will be recorded before summer’s end. Hatriot has a lot of big things in the future we just want to make sure we find the right musician to keep us moving forward.”
