HEAVENWOOD Confirm Hometown Gig; Band Working On New Material

Portuguese metallers HEAVENWOOD will play a very special gig on January 31st in their hometown Oporto at Porto Rio Rock Club – Barco Gandufe with other two Portuguese acts, DEMON DAGGER and DECAY as special guests - the band will make a musical trip through songs from their early records.
Heavenwood recently inked a distribution deal with Nightmare Records for their latest album, Redemption. Redemption was mixed at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden with Jens Bogren (OPETH, SOILWORK, AMON AMARTH). The initial recording sessions for the CD took place at Ultrasound Studios with Daniel Cardoso and Ricardo Dias.
Heavenwood are currently working on the follow-up to Redemption. The band recently completed pre-production on the new song 'September Blood'.
