HELIX Gearing Up For Album Release Party

HELIX mainman Brian Vollmer has issued the following update:
"The countdown is on for next week’s release party for The Power Of Rock n’ Roll, which is being held here in London at the Eastside Bar & Grill. The show sold out in one week and the phone has been ringing incessantly with friends wondering where they can find tickets. Rudy Blair from 680 News in Toronto is bringing us onstage that day. Rudy is the Entertainment Director for the station and has been a big supporter of the band for a couple of years now. He interviewed me last week for an interview that is scheduled to run on the station August 11th, 12th, and 13th. For the special day I’ve made up commemorative buttons for the first 200 fans to walk through the door (so show up early!). Doors are at 2P.M., the band hits the stage at exactly 3:00. We’ve also got new t-shirts which will go on sale that day. Lastly, but most importantly, we’ll have the new CD for sale. Thanks go out to EMI for supplying the posters and along with HMV picking up the advertising costs."As previously reported, Helix will be filming a video for the song 'Get Up' during the show. The Power Of Rock N’ Roll is out now via EMI.
