HELSTAR - Survive Hurricane Ike, But Not Without Loss

After a week of not hearing, singer James Rivera finally responded to BW&BK;'s inquiry into his personal safety, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike slamming the Houston area last weekend. "I'm doing fine, somewhat back to normal," says the diminutive frontman, "I just got the electricity turned on the other day, but Larry (Barragan, guitar) lost his house! So there's some bad shit going on here." Switching gears to the new album, The King Of Hell (AFM), he says, "It's #1 at Heavy (Germany), #7Rock Hard (Germany) and #2 in Ardschock (Netherlands)." Everyone at BW&BK; wished all those affected by the natural storm well, however ancillary.
