New York-based metallers HOLYHELL have announced veteran John Macaluso (ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, JAMES LABRIE, TNT, UNION RADIO) as their new drummer and celebrate their new arrival with a free download of one of their first live appearances together.
HolyHell and Macaluso first played together in March with performances in sold-out shows in Worcester, MA and Cleveland, OH.
“The energy was so amazing, you can hear it effortlessly in the performances, said HolyHell front woman and songwriter Maria Breon. “We want to share this experience with our fans! Join us on Facebook - and on the road!”"Playing with 'Mac' has been a revelation and a pleasure for the whole band. He's a monster drummer with impeccable timing and a strong sense for the music,” said musical director Francisco Palomo.
"Johnny Mac is a perfect fit for HolyHell. The band sounds killer,” adds Joe Stump.
HolyHell are working on their new album, set for release in 2012.
The next opportunity to witness HolyHell and Macaluso are two upcoming shows in November: the 18th at the Dublin Pub New Hyde Park, Long Island, NY and the 19, at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.
The free live version of ‘Revelations’ from HolyHell’s self-titled debut album will be available on the band’s Facebook page as of midnight, September 23.
