HOTEL DIABLO guitarist Alex Grossi (QUIET RIOT) is featured in a new interview with LiveReviewer.com. An excerpt is available below:

Q: Hotel Diablo is the youngest project/band in which you are a member. Can you tell us how the band is started and who is playing in it?

Grossi: "Hotel Diablo is a band that was formed from the ground up, rather than joined up as a sideman. It really started while Rick Stitch (vocals) and I were playing together in ADLER'S APPETITE, that project seemed to be on it’s last leg and we were doing a lot of writing together so we ended up leaving and focusing on this music full-time. We ended up doing a one-off show here in LA with Mike Duda (bass) and Mike Dupke (drums) and it just clicked from there."

Q: The album is produced by Gilby Clarke (ex-GUNS N' ROSES), how was it to work with Gilby?

Grossi: "Gilby has been great. He is really like the fifth member of the band, his old-school rock instincts are a refreshing change from the world of making everything 'perfect' in Pro-tools. I like that he was really able to capture what we actually sound like in the studio. He also has probably the best guitar collection I have ever seen, which was a lot of fun in the studio."

Hotel Diablo have tapped nine-time Emmy Award winning and MTV Video Music Award nominated director Fabio Jafet (CHILDREN OF BODOM) to direct the video for their song, 'Psycho, California'. Shooting will take place in December in Los Angeles.

"We are beyond excited to be working with Fabio" say guitarist Alex Grossi. "We have all been fans of his work for a long time and feel he is the perfect director to bring 'Psycho, California' to life on screen."

Fabio edited PITBULL's 'I Know You Want Me' which ended up being the number one music video of 2009 on Youtube with over a 190 million views to date, making it one of the most watched YouTube video of all time. He is currently managing the band COYOTE THEORY.

Hotel Diablo's The Return To Psycho California was released worldwide on September 25th via Scarlet Records, Entertainment One is distributing the CD in North America.

The album, produced by Gilby Clarke (GUNS N' ROSES, ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA) with additional production by Matt Starr (ACE FREHLEY, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES), is "a collection of stories, true stories, experienced during a time when our lives were filled with mind-altering shots of wretched adrenaline," says Rick Stitch. "Strings got bent, knobs were turned and an uncontrolled visceral energy screamed life into what has become Psycho, California."
