ICON Confirmed For Germany's Headbanger's Open Air 2010

Reunited Phoenix, Arizona-based hard rockers ICON are confirmed for next year's edition of the Headbangers Open Air festival, which is set to take place in July 29th-31st, 2010 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany.
Confirmed acts for the bill now include: AMULANCE, ALASKA, BATTLEAXE, BLOODFEAST, CIRITH UNGOL, CULPRIT, DER KAISER, ICON, JAG PANZER, JAMESON RAID, OMEN, RAVEN, ROCK GODDESS, ROXXCALIBUR, TRENCH HELL, VIRGIN STEELE, WARBRINGER.

In August 2008, ICON celebrated their reunion with a reissue of a 1984 Bootleg Concert on DVD. Original members Dan Wexler (guitar), John Aquilino (guitar) and Pat Dixon (drums) along with former member Dave Henzerling (bass) and new singer Scott Hammons had plans to record new material potentially for a new album. Hammons has since been replaced by former ADLER'S APPETITE vocalist Sheldon Tarsha.
