Danish metallers IRON FIRE check in with the following brief update:
"Iron Fire will record a song for the upcoming VIRGIN STEELE tribute album, By The Gods: A Noble Tribute To Virgin Steele.More news will follow soon."
A previous update from the group reads:
"We are sorry to say that we have parted ways with (guitarist) Marc Masters.In the end, Marc did not have the dedication to the band that we need, but there are no bad feelings involved in his departure and we wish him the best of luck in the future.
It's now been almost a year since we started song writing for our next album, and it has not been easy to keep the spirit high at times, but the hard work has payed off and we really feel that we have come up with something great this time.
Kirk (Backarach) will do all the guitar work on the upcoming album which we plan to start recording around spring time."
