IRON MAIDEN Expected To Confirm 2010 Sonisphere Appearance This Wednesday

IRON MAIDEN have been rumored to headline the 2010 edition of the Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth, scheduled for Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 at the Hertfordshire stately home.
This Wednesday, December 9th, at 6 PM (GMT) Iron Maiden's official website is expected to confirm the band's spot on the festival bill.
More than 80,000 metal and rock fans attended the inaugural Sonisphere this year, with the camping festival headlined by METALLICA.
A statement on Sonisphere's website said: "It's official! Sonisphere 2010 will take place on July 31 and August 1. Thank you again everyone for coming to the first Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth Park in August 2009. We are really excited to announce that the first steps are being made to map out our 2010 tour across Europe and with that we are pleased to confirm our UK dates. This time the party hits Knebworth on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1, 2010."
