IRON MAIDEN’s Trooper Beer will now be available in a smaller bottle. A posting about it reads:

“ENGAGE THE SHRINKING RAY! Muuuaaaahahahahahahaha

We're pleased to announce the arrival of Trooper's little brother, weighing in at a healthy 330ml he's designed to fit better in the fridges and on the shelves of bars, pubs and clubs that prefer a more compact beverage. More choice = more stockists = more Trooper for you guys! Don't worry 500ml fans; big bro is sticking around too.”

According to Morningadvertiser.co.uk, IRON MAIDEN's Trooper Beer has sold 3.5 million pints without its brewer Robinsons spending a penny on marketing. Robinsons Brewery's director marketing also revealed that they've turned down opportunities to make a beer for MOTÖRHEAD. Read more here.

Last year Iron Maiden teamed up with Cheshire family brewers Robinsons to create Trooper. Real ale fan and history aficionado Bruce Dickinson, Maiden's vocalist, played a major role in developing the unique flavour of the beer, entailing ongoing visits to Robinson’s brewery in Stockport. The ale takes its name from the band’s classic 1984 single The Trooper and the bottle features the same image as that release – band mascot Eddie taking part in the charge of the light brigade. The beer has the history of the 1884 battle on the back of each bottle.

The official swag for Iron Maiden's Trooper, is now available at BraveWords' newly-resurrected merch store at this location. Products include Trooper Beer t-shirts, printed cups, bottle opener keyring, pump clip, bar runner and more!
