According to King5.com, Hard Rock International has announced it will open a Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of downtown Seattle this summer. The 14,0000-square-foot Hard Rock Cafe Seattle will open at 116 Pike Street in July.

"After searching for the perfect location for many years, we are proud to bring Hard Rock Cafe to Seattle,” said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO Hard Rock Cafe International. “Seattle is famous for its rich music history and live music scene, and we feel Hard Rock is a perfect complement to this vibrant city.”

In addition to a state-of-the-art facility with a live music space, the cafe will also feature rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia from Hard Rock’s collection, which includes items from many of Seattle’s legendary crop of home-grown music talent, such as JIMI HENDRIX, NIRVANA, PEARL JAM, CHRIS CORNELL of SOUNDGARDEN and AUDIOSLAVE fame, ALICE IN CHAINS and FOO FIGHTERS.
