OVER THE RAINBOW vocalist Joe Lynn Turner recently spoke with UK-based Rock Radio about performing live with his new band, OVER THE RAINBOW. An excerpt appears below.
Q: How does it feel to be playing those (DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW) songs again and how are the audiences reacting? Any magical moments when he knew it was coming together?
JLT: "In one word: GREAT! The crowds were totally excited, the attendance was amazing and the reaction to the setlist was positive. Throughout the meet and greets and autograph lines, all was positive. As for the band, the cameraderie was great as well. We feel this is a family project and that's how we refer to it. After all, I've known Tony for for years, worked with Greg and Bobby very successfully and known Jurgen since he was 15 years old."
